About Contact

My work is grounded in the awareness that I am a settler offering guidance from my own perspective. I aim to help professionals build the skills and confidence to engage ethically, while affirming that Indigenous knowledge, leadership, and lived experience remain central to heritage and policy practice.

With gratitude, I acknowledge that I live, work, and raise my family on the unceded traditional territories of the Qualicum First Nation and the K’ómoks Nation. I thank the Qualicum people, saying ʔay̓ʔaχʔʔƛ̓a (thank you), and the K’ómoks people, saying Gilakas’la (thank you), for their stewardship of these lands and waters since time immemorial.

Why are territorial acknowledgements important?
